SKY RC TLD001

The TLD001 is a smart temperature logger capable of Bluetooth connection with the RC Gears app. It can measure and record the temperature of the controller, engine, drive battery and other accessories in the range of -20°C to 210°C. With the help of the RC Gears app, you can view the temperature record as a graph just like previously recorded measurements. Data can be shared as a screenshot or an Excel file. You will use the recorder when training and adjusting the drive unit of your model; because the measurement takes place in off-line mode, also in competitions in which the use of telemetry functions of RC kits providing real-time data is not allowed.

A pair of thermocouple sensors is available for measurement, so it is possible to measure and record the temperature simultaneously in two places - for example, simultaneously on the engine and the regulator. The thermocouple sensor is attached to the measured object using the supplied copper self-adhesive tape - this is for temperatures up to 100°C. For fastening to objects with a temperature higher than 100°C, you need to use a special heat-resistant kapton tape, which you can find in the general offer of stores with electronic components.

With the help of the RC Gears application, you can set the measurement parameters for both sensors - the duration of the measurement in the range of 1 to 60 minutes and the sampling interval (it can be 1 to 5 seconds if the measurement time is less than 30 minutes; if the measurement time is longer than 30 minutes sampling interval can be 2 to 5 seconds).

The recorder is powered by a 3 V CR2450 coin cell lithium battery.

It connects to the application via Bluetooth 5.0 with a range of up to 15 m, the connection is signaled by an LED indicator. You can load the recorded data into the RC Gears app (both Android and iOS), view it as a graph, save it for later evaluation/archive, and export it as a screenshot or an Excel file.
